Fall Rituals

As the seasons change and we settle into fall, we start turning into cozier rituals and warmer nights.

The best way to take care of your hair

As the drier months set in, we’re here to share our personal tips for avoiding heat damage, boosting hydration, and ensuring your tresses stay soft and strong all winter long. One of the best ways is to incorporate a hair serum into your routine. Dermatologist Dr Ava Shambam shares her tips on the importance of hair serums and how to use them effectively.

Fall Recipes

One of our favorite fall rituals is starting our mornings out with a bowl of stewed apples. Apples are a quintessential fall fruit; apple picking is a family favorite activity, and the smell of warm apple pie (with ice cream on top!) soothes the soul. Look for Granny Smith, McIntosh or Braeburn apples – they are great varietals for baking.

What We're Loving

The buzz on team RANAVAT's Zoom calls is all about the art of Shirodhara. This Ayurvedic treatment induces a relaxed state of awareness, soothing the mind and body. The treatment involves slowly dripping medicated oil on the forehead, which relaxes and soothes. This is especially great for those with an imbalance of Vata or Pitta doshas. We can't wait to try this ourselves!
